This article will go over the setup of your Táve account lead sources. Lead Sources can be found here in Settings › Lead Sources in your Táve account.

Setting Up Lead Sources

When beginning your Táve account setup, your list will be pre-populated with a lot of common lead sources. You can edit these as you’d like, removing those that aren’t relevant and adding your own.

Using Lead Source in Your Contact Forms

Once you’ve set up your different lead sources, they’ll appear in your contact form in the Field Configuration section. (Learn about setting up your contact form here.) Below you can see the Source field that can be included on your contact form. Select options to choose exactly which lead sources appear on your contact form.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using either of the WordPress plugins (Contact Form 7 Táve Plugin or Gravity Forms Táve Plugin) the source field is required and you must map this to your Táve lead source. The options you include in your form must exactly match how those options appear in Settings › Lead Sources.

Viewing Lead Source on the Lead

When a new lead comes in and they've selected a Lead Source on your contact form, you'll see that showing in the top right of the lead, in the Came from section:

Manually Setting the Lead Source

If your lead didn't select a lead source or you're manually entering a new lead, you can set the lead source by editing the job worksheet and selecting the source in that dropdown in the Lead Details section:

Booking Trends by Lead Source

Lead sources are a great tool to see where your leads are coming from and which marketing strategies are working well for you, as well as which may need some work. You can find more detailed analysis in your Booking Trends by Lead Source report. You'll need to be an administrator user to see this report. Find out more on this here:
