What is Acuity Scheduling?

Acuity Scheduling is a cloud-based appointment scheduling software solution that enables business owners to manage their appointments online.

With Acuity you can build calendar schedules that your clients can choose from. With Zapier you can can build a Zap that observes when an Acuity appointment is scheduled, which then triggers an Action in Táve.

Building the Zap

Let's look at how to build the zap to Create A Job in Táve when a New Acuity Scheduling Appointment is created.

In your Zapier account, use the Create Zap button:

Once you've connected your Táve account you're ready to set up the Action.

In the top section here, select the data you want this job and contact to have when this Zap creates a Job in Táve.

**Important** when setting up the Zap for Acuity Scheduling do not use the Event Date or Event End (Date & Time) fields.

Instead you'll want to use the Event Start (Time), Event End (Time) and Event Start (Date & Time) fields, mapping these to your Acuity Scheduling fields like this:

**Important** You must make sure that your Time Format in Acuity Scheduling is set to 24 hour. You'll find this in Customise Appearance - Appearance - Time Format:

Next you'll want to choose the Event Type you want added to the Job in Táve. If you leave this blank then the event will be given the default event type based on the Job Type you selected above.

Set your Timezone - you might need to use the 'Load More' option if the search doesn't bring up your timezone.

**Important** you must select a Custom Field for the Zap to run (even if you aren't mapping this to an Acuity field). Simply use the drop down to select any Custom Field.

Once you've completed the set up, you can then Test your Zap. This will send a test Job to your Táve account! Remember to purge any test leads when you're done.

You're now ready to Turn on your Zap!
