Runs immediately or at 8am studio time on the day specified in the Executes box.

Observing Mail › Message Sent can be very powerful. Without a condition, you’re executing the automation every time a message is sent, which could get a little messy.

What you'll want to do is add a condition for the subject line of the email you're sending, that you want this automation to trigger for. We'll do that by adding a condition for 'item.name' must exactly match, then enter the subject line of the email template. You'll want to enter that subject line exactly as it appears in the email template, this field is case-sensitive too.

This example automation is updating a custom field checkbox on the job (to be ticked) when a style guide email has been sent out:

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your automation is observing Mail › Message Sent, you will not be able to select Send Email as an action. The system will block this action being added to prevent any email loops happening.
