There are times when you might need to move an event from one lead or job to another. Perhaps you added the event to the wrong job, attached a synced event to the wrong job, or had an existing client book an event through your public bookable event link instead of their invitation, which created a new lead - no problem! You can now reassign events to different jobs.
To reassign an event, open the event details from the Schedule of the lead or job and use the Reassign Job button here:
Search for the lead or job you want to move this event to and select it from the list:
You'll see a note show up on the event stating which job it is going to be reassigned to. If the event includes attendees, they will be added as contacts to the job the event is moving to, with their current job roles and client status.
When you're ready, select Save & Continue and the event will be moved to the other job.
You will now be on the other job's Schedule where the event has been moved to.
NOTE: If you moved the event from a duplicate lead or job, moving the event won't close that duplicate lead or job. Be sure to then go back to the lead or job you moved the event from and close it if you no longer need it.
