Booking the Easy Way!
The days of sending five emails to book a single client are behind you. How you book your clients will set the tone for your professional relationship together, and you want the presentation to be perfect. In Táve, we use quotes to send your product list, a questionnaire, your contract, and a way to pay all inside one easy to follow link.
You can even create quote templates you can use over and over again for similar bookings.

Building a Standard Quote - Written Instructions
To begin, we'll head to the lead we're looking to book from our leads sidebar and head to the job overview page.
From here we'll click Quotes & Orders, followed by New Quote so we can get our test client booked.
Quote Details
This is our Quote Builder. Quotes in Táve are an awesome way to send a client pricing information and options, contracts and questionnaires all in one easy to follow link.
The top section of this screen is some basic information about the quote that we can fill in if we'd like to. The message field here will display at the top of our quote once our clients click the link to it.
Adding Products & Services
We can now start building out our quote with the products and services we offer. First we'll begin by searching through the products we already have in that dropdown.
If the product you're looking for doesn't exist just yet, you can always click Manual Entry and create a new one.
If you're using Manual Entry, remember to choose Save As Product to save this to your Products & Services. You can always edit these later in Settings › Products & Services if you need to.
Booking Process - Payment Schedule, Questionnaire & Contract
Below this, we'll start by selecting a Payment Schedule, You can always click edit to change it, or Add New to add a new one if one of the defaults don't work for you.
If you'd like to collect information from the client before they sign their contract, you can add a Questionnaire here. This is optional and you don't have to include a questionnaire in your quote. Use the dropdown to select from one of your existing questionnaire templates:
Next we'll move on to the Contract. Choose from one of your existing contract templates or click New to create a new contract template for this quote.
If adding a new contract template, fill in the Contract Settings details and your Contract Text, then be sure to tick Save as Template to save this to your contract templates to reuse later.
STOP! Save to Quote Templates
Before we go any further, it's important to save this quote as a template by choosing the Copy to Quote Templates option. Táve is designed to never have you do the same thing twice. Any chance you have to save something as a template, take it.
You'll see a success message at the top of your page and this quote will now be saved here in Settings › Quotes. You'll be able to quickly add this to any lead in the future without having to build it out again from scratch!
Click Save & Continue at the top and let's preview the quote to see how it looks.
Previewing the Quote
Take a second to preview the quote by clicking direct link. This will open the quote in a new tab to see how it looks as the client will see it.
Sending the Quote to Your Client
The next step is to send the quote out to your client to get them booked.
